For over 23 years Mari has been working behind the chair as a haircut and color specialist. Starting in a salon at age 15, Mari’s reputation for excellence grew in the hair salon industry at a very fast pace. She learned early on the value of continuing advanced education in an industry that is constantly evolving. Her devotion and dedication to advanced hair design has earned her a very strong and loyal clientele. As a premier stylist in SW Washington, Mari provides exceptional service, and applies the newest and most innovative techniques so her clients leave the salon with confidence. Mari opened her current salon, now called, “Elevate,” in 2013. She has been on the Alterna Hair Care Education Team, a nationally recognized elite-level hair products brand, since 2015. It wasn't long after that she realized her passion for educating others, and she wanted to share next-generation standards in hair care and style with her community. So, Mari launched the Elevate Academy in Vancouver, Washington in late 2019. As the Founder and Educator of the Elevate Academy, Mari provides more than just knowledge and training. She is a rising-star professional in a competitive market who works hard and believes in the value of constant learning, growing, and moving forward. She knows that knowledge paired with discipline, and master technique paired with passion, are the makings of incredible opportunity so she strives to inspire others who have similar aspirations. She is a leader, an open- minded mentor, and a role model who also learns from her students and is enriched by the interactive environment of the Academy as much as they are. Elevate Academy provides specialized instruction, mentorship, collaboration, coaching, and inspiration for its enrollees to be their best.
